We designed the Yard Swiveler to be a hardworking piece of equipment—not a gimmick.

It's made of zinc plated steel to handle the repeated turns, maneuvering, and everyday demands of mowing.

The Yard Swiveler takes mowing with your JD mid mount mower under your Cat. 1,2 or 3 JD tractor to a whole new (lower) level!

Weve developed a swiveling anti-scalp wheel kit (replacing the front OEM anti-scalp wheels) and solving the issue of "scuffing" the grass in maneuvering through turns and direction changes.

The Yard Swiveler (currently manufactured for the JD 54D, 60D AND 72D MMM deck models) allows our anti-scalp wheels to ride closer to the ground while mowing, thus reducing any scalping AND scuffing. No more setting the anti-scalp wheels to the deck manufacturers 3/8" off the ground. Our anti-scalp wheel kit works flawlessly and still allows for drive over mount and dismount!

Our custom assembly is substantially capable of handling the wheels touching the ground, although we don't recommend preloading the wheels heavily, so the target clearance is zero to 1/8" above the ground when the deck is on a flat surface. This height will not deliberately force the wheels to carry the deck, but our wheels will engage much sooner than the OEM clearance of 3/8" while still allowing the deck to "float" normally.

TURN WITH THE MOWER.

It’s a simple idea: let the wheel swivel with the turn. The Yard Swiveler is designed to help your mower’s gauge wheels move naturally through turns, reducing the resistance and dragging that can occur when a conventional fixed wheel assembly is forced to follow the mower through a turn.

When you turn, the Yard Swiveler allows the front wheel assembly to pivot and follow the direction of travel instead of forcing the front wheels to scrub across the grass during a turn. The rear wheels naturally follow the tractor movement, so they don't need to swivel.
